WEDDING INFORMATION
Our Studio takes great pride in our Award-winning Wedding Photography and Story-telling Albums. We set and maintain the highest level of quality and expectations not only for the two of us, but our employees and assistants as well.
Together as a team, we approach photographing weddings with the philosophy of capturing every moment in a romantic, story-telling format….from the bride getting ready all the way through to their final emotional farewells at the end of the day. We offer (and can combine) two styles of wedding photography: the traditional elegant formal poses and/or capturing those wonderful spontaneous moments that occur through the day in an editorial/photojournalistic type style. Brides and Grooms tell us they love all the details and emotional moments we are able to catch and preserve forever. We want you to enjoy your wedding day, and wish to make the photography as enjoyable as possible.
We know and fully appreciate the importance of your wedding day and take our responsibility in capturing your day with great photographs very seriously. We understand that trust, rapport, and cooperation between the photographer(s) and you the client, is paramount in making the day a success, and archiving all your wedding choices and experiences forever. Quality is our main goal in being a part of your wedding. You should not accept anything less than an experienced photographer with this in mind.
To maintain the highest level of quality possible, ESTES Photography accepts commissions for only 20 weddings per year. Our wedding commissions start at $3,000, and all commissions include a Digital Proofbook with 500-800 images, and a top quality finished Wedding Album that incorporates your favorite images in various sizes and/or designs. Some commissions include additional photography sessions, and/or larger or additional finished albums.
The images we showcase in your wedding proofbook and on your personal wedding website are not images that have simply been downloaded directly from the professional cameras utilized by our staff. Our Studio takes the time to quality edit & present your images in a wonderful story-telling format, color balancing them (as needed), and artistically providing some retouching on many of your most important portraits before they are ever seen by your family and friends. Presenting you in your very best light always is not only our talent, but our pleasure. When everyone goes to your personal website to see your wedding images, we want their response to be “Wow”, don’t you?
Just as you should shop around, meet with and compare several photographers before choosing the one that best fits your requirements (and has a demeanor that will mesh with your personality, your families and valued friends), our studio also likes to meet with you directly to understand your vision for your wedding day, to see how our style and talent will help you make that vision come true.
Our studio feels the fees we charge to capture a wedding day in the highest quality, with our extensive experience & level of work, along with the ethics and honesty our studio is known for, are customary in the industry. You certainly can find “cheaper” photographers with less knowledge and experience. Are you willing to give the most important job of your wedding day to just anyone? Whether or not you choose to commission our Studio or another, make sure that they are not only creatively talented, but that they are an established, legal studio (you would be surprised how many are not!), experienced, insured, and members in good standing of the right professional affiliate governing organizations. To not do so, is playing Russian roulette with your wedding photography.
